production students

Production students are given the opportunity to work in a range of roles including:

• Stage management
• Set design
• Prop making
• Set construction
• Scenic art
• costume design and making
• Wardrobe management
• Lighting design, rigging and plotting
• Sound design, rigging and plotting

As well as working on productions, production students attend workshops with visiting specialist theatre practitioners and work alongside industry professionals.

Past wgytc production students regularly go on to work in high profile roles within the industry including international concert tours, West End and regional theatre, television and large scale events.
