Such an amazing course I can’t even describe! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience once again, I really can’t wait to do another. West glam has not only made me a better performer, but a better person, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream was outstanding. I thought that the set was amazing through the way they used the doors and the leaves falling to show the change in seasons.  The changing of the seasons was very magical.  The actors were great and I also thought that the way the play within the play was directed was very funny. I absolutely loved the humour in it.  I would like to a part of the company some day.

I really liked the way the stage was set up. I understood the part when the seasons changed.  I thought the actor who played Bottom who then  played Pyramus in the play within the play was really funny.

I thought that it had a good storyline but sometimes the words were hard to understand because it was in English that’s quite old.

My favourite part was when the Mechanicals were rehearsing and putting on the play.

Daniel, Y7

The costumes were beautiful.  The acting was done with such passion and thought. I liked seeing how many people there were from Bishop Gore. I was amazed at how much I enjoyed it as I was worried I wouldn’t understand the Shakespearean language. I would have loved to be part of the ensemble.

While watching the production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream I was particularly interested in the actor who played Pyramus during the part when they were performing the play within a play. It was funny when he continuously stabbed himself while saying ‘die’! I really laughed when the wall showed his crevice.

Jacob, Y7

I enjoyed the play and the actors were amazing but I sometimes wasn’t sure about the Shakespearian language.  My favourite part was the changing of the seasons because it was magical and very spectacular.

Recording radio is a new and exciting experience. I’m playing a Del Boy character, he’s a bit of a lad!

Llyr, 17

Not a lot of people our age can say they’ve recorded a radio play.

Liz, 19

Working on a radio play means you have to work harder, it’s interesting to see what you can do vocally. You find out things you didn’t know.
